Iron Mountain was originally conceived as an archiving company, providing secure storage and destruction of physical data assets such as paper, microfilm and audio recordings. The company has been technologically innovating and expanding since the 1980’s, and is now actively pivoting away from “paper-based” services to a data and cloud services play. The company’s future growth will be driven by digitising clients’ data assets, and providing secure storage and access to these.

Suitable for experienced commercial professional with knowledge of & contacts within the UK banking sector
Key activities
Build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organisational business objectives and goals.
Understands and influences a wide range of customer stakeholders while acting as an industry expert to the customer.
Ensure frequent communication to enable superior customer satisfaction and to keep customers educated on emerging industry trends related to customer’s organizational information management needs.
Develop a strategic account plan for each named account leveraging customer knowledge and the Iron Mountain matrixed organization.
Maintain a consistent ‘pipeline’ that enables meeting and exceeding quota attainment.
Work to collaborate with the customer on net new opportunities and work through Negotiated and RFP sales processes.
Qualifiers
“Hunter”
A strong background and knowledge of strategic account management, sales process and solution selling
Strong track record of commercial success
Experience in selling to the Banking sector in the UK and Ireland
Possesses solid contact network within the sector
Must have the proven ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements through creating powerful value propositions
Comfortable and experienced in selling to C level and Director level customers
Probably experienced in working within a large international matrix organisation
